By default ProfileMaker stores profiles in the Library/ColorSync folder located under the user account that is logged onto the computer at the time the profile is built. This is an advantage in that you do not need administrator privilege to save profiles in the user ColorSync folder. The downside is that other users do not have access to these profiles.

If you wish to save profiles in the system ColorSync folder, you merely need to change the path one time, ProfileMaker remembers this change and defaults to this location in the future.

Eye-one Match software stores profiles in the system folder by default.
