+Tweaking the Registry (PC) to Disable AUTOCROPTo achieve the highest colorimetric precision when creating printer profiles it is possible to disable the (default) auto-cropping feature. Users beware: doing this requires an edit to the system registry. Unless you are comfortable with this process, do not consider this action - - an error can disable your PC. If you are running Windows XP, consider setting a restore point before proceeding!
- Open the registry editor (if you do not know how to do this then this article is not for you!)
-
Locate the following key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Monacosys\MonacoEZcolor 2.5\Settings
-
In the right-hand panel, locate and open the key "AUTOCROP".
-
Set the value to zero (0) (( A value of one (1) is on, zero (0) is off )).
-
Close the Registry Editor and restart MonacoEZcolor.
Should you desire to restore the system default, simply repeat the above process returning the value to one (1).
