The PDF to Blurb Book Color Workflow featuring Adobe® InDesign®
Blurb's PDF to Book capabilities give you complete control over the bookmaking process. In this Webinar sponsored by X-Rite and Blurb, we'll cover the entire process from image capture, to soft-proofing in Photoshop® to book layout in InDesign® to upload to Blurb.
We'll show you how to implement a color workflow to ensure that the photos in your book print with the best quality and accuracy possible. We'll provide tips on how to use ColorChecker Passport and ColorMunki Photo from X-Rite so that color from capture-to-edit-to-print is accurate and consistent. Using Adobe Photoshop, we'll soft-proof images to see how they will print in a Blurb book. The CMYK color space is often new territory for photographers, so we will cover how to convert images using the Blurb custom printer profile for placement into InDesign.
Using custom InDesign templates direct from Blurb, we'll design a book, pre-flight the results and upload the finished book to Blurb.
Regardless of the software you use to create your PDF book, this webinar will provide you with a clear workflow to get the best photo color possible.
