Pratik Naik
Pratik Naik is a high-end retoucher, educator at the Retouching Series and founder of Infinite Color Panel.
His love affair with Photoshop began in 1999 where his experience in photo manipulation and graphic design allowed him to learn about the program. He transitioned naturally into retouching through his involvement in photography and began working in the field immediately since then. Over the course of the following years his work became notably published in magazines like Vogue, Elle, Harper's Bazaar and other high-end editorials, along with multiple commercial clients.
His passion for ultimately helping creatives through his retouching and seeing a photographer’s vision come to life. His interest in helping others reach their full potential stems into education or developing resources in order for them to do that. With over 15 years of experience, Pratik has been through the editorial and commercial world of retouching, and has a style that is concise and non-destructive.
Pratik is known not for a particular style, but being able to work with a multitude of photographers and match their vision rather than changing it entirely. Having a history as a photographer also allows him to understand the industry on both ends.
This has led him to travel around the world teaching workshops and being associated with brands like Phase One and Capture One.
