-CMYK+X or N-ColorQ - Should I use N-color or CMYK+N to profile my CMYK+RGB system?
A - The difference between the n-color and the CMYK+N modules is the resulting separation behavior.
To create a profile that delivers separations in which all color channels dominate more or less the same, create an n-color profile (e.g. for a printing system that can print a high total ink amount).
If you want to create a profile, in which CMYK is used dominantly but RGB is used only partially, then create a CMYK+N profile (e.g. for printing transfer images for ceramics).
