If you are using a RIP it may be able to distinguish between vector and raster parts of the image and color manage them differently.
If your RIP doesn't allow for separate vector and raster color settings, you may be able to use a device link profile. Device-link profiles are part of the ICC profile specification. They are special profiles that connect one profile with another, such as an input and output profile. These could be a standard working space profile (e.g., Adobe RGB) and a printer profile.
A device link profile can be created using the device link module in ProfileMaker. In the device link module in ProfileMaker 5 you can select the options to have clean primaries and black so that these are not color managed.
