+Adjusting White Point on LCDs

While many LCD displays will provide RGB or color controls when used with a standard VGA (analog) connector, these can be problematic. This is because LCDs are digital in nature and RGB "gun" controls are only appropriate on an analog CRT. The RGB controls on some LCDs will cause undesirable visual defects, in many cases as a color shift in the lighter tones. We recommend avoiding these controls and choosing the nearest preset color temperature instead. Your monitor profiling software can make any additional correction that might be needed within the software and video card correction tables.
