There are several ways to register and activate your dongle.

Method 1: From within the application

The fastest and simplest way to register your dongle is to use the function built in to the software. You can reach this by choosing "Program Dongle" from the "File" menu or by responding to a message dialog stating that your dongle is time-limited or inactive.

At this point you will be presented with a Registration window that contains instructions and several pieces of information. The dongle Serial Number and the Access Code are both required to register and activate your dongle. When you click on the "Register Online" button, both of these will automatically be entered into a web form that will appear in your web browser. You should then complete the remainder of the form and click the "Submit" button. Make sure your email address is correct because this is where your Activation Code will be sent.

While you await your Activation Code, you can return to the Registration window and click Cancel to continue working with the software. Keep in mind that if your dongle is expired or inactive, you will not be able to save profiles. You will be able to print, save, and measure patches and save output profiling sessions.

When you receive your Activation Code, make sure you enter it right away because it will expire. Return to the Registration window by choosing Program Dongle from the File menu. Copy and paste the code into the field at the bottom of the Registration window. When you click "Program Dongle," your dongle will then function normally.

Method 2: Using another computer

If Method 1 does not work because of network or browser restrictions, you can still register online by using another computer that does have internet access. You can install the software there and then move the dongle back once it has been programmed. If that is not an option, copy down the first eight digits of the Serial Number and the entire Access Code and bring them to the computer you will use. Point your web browser to: http://support.monacosys.com/Registration/register.asp 

This will take you to a web form where you will need to enter your Serial Number and Access Code as well as your contact information. Complete the form and click the "Submit" button. Make sure your email address is correct because this is where your Activation Code will be sent.

When you receive your Activation Code, return to the Registration window by choosing Program Dongle from the File menu. Copy and paste the code into the field at the bottom of the Registration window. When you click "Program Dongle," your dongle will then function normally.

Method 3: Via email

Another option is to send an email with all of the required information to monacosupport@xrite.com

Make sure you include your Serial Number and Access Code as well as the name of a contact person, company name, address, postal code, country and phone number. Also let us know if you are an end-user or a reseller, when you acquired the software and from what organization.

Once your information has been processed, you will receive an email containing an Activation Code. When you receive your Activation Code, make sure you enter it right away because it will expire. Return to the Registration window by choosing Program Dongle from the File menu. Copy and paste the code into the field at the bottom of the Registration window. When you click "Program Dongle," your dongle will then function normally.
