-Crash When Launching MonacoOPTIX 2 or MonacoPROFILER 4.7 (MacOS X only)

In some cases where MonacoOPTIX 2 or MonacoPROFILER 4.7 has been installed twice on a system, the new copy will crash on launch. To resolve this problem, you need to remove an entry from your account's Login Items or Startup Items.

On MacOS X 10.4.x (Tiger)

Go to System Preferences in the Apple Menu or Dock. Click on Accounts and then Login Items. Select all items named "Monaco Reminder" and then click the - (minus) button below the list of Startup Items. Make sure you do not click on the minus button below the list of user accounts.

On MacOS X 10.3.x (Panther)

Go to System Preferences in the Apple Menu or Dock. Click on Accounts and then Startup Items. Select all items named "Monaco Reminder" and then click the - (minus) button below the list of Startup Items. Make sure you do not click on the minus button below the list of user accounts.

On MacOS X 10.2.x (Jaguar)

Go to System Preferences in the Apple Menu or Dock. Click on Login  Items. Select all items named "Monaco Reminder" and then click the Remove button below the list of Login Items.

Once all the "Monaco Reminder" links have been removed from Login Items or Startup Items, you should then be able to launch MonacoOPTIX 2 or MonacoPROFILER 4.7 without a crash occurring. If there are multiple users on the system, you will need to perform the procedure for each account.
