Modules in Demo after Upgrade from ProfileMaker 4 to 5
Q - We just upgraded to ProfileMaker 5 from ProfileMaker 4, and the "Digital Camera" and "Device Link" tabs read demo. What do these modules do?
A - These modules are in demo because the Digital Camera and Device Link modules are not included in the upgrade from PM 4 to 5.
The Digital Camera module allows you to profile your digital camera. The device link profile creates those specialized profiles based on two other profiles for use in RIP or workflow applications that are compatible with device link profiles. The major advantage of device link profiles is the ability to select the primaries and black not to be color managed.
